Shipping and Returns

Custom made garments are all produced once the order has been placed, in most situations these are delivered within 6 weeks of your confirmed order. Should there be a delay with your order due to fabric or other component being out of stock this lead time may increase. Our Sales Team will advise you and keep you up to date on delivery date of the order.

Garments from the uniform range are ordered in from our supplier when you order and deposit has been received. If the garments do not have any branding these will be delivered to you within 14 days. Garments with embroidery will be delivered within 21 days. Generally we are able to deliver embroidered garments much quicker than this. If you are looking for an item quickly, please talk to one of our Sales Manager and we will always try to assist in supplying these items by your required delivery date.

All orders are charged a $25 postage and handling fee to one delivery point specified in the contract. We always use Australia Post. From time to time unexpected postal delays can occur, and Daniel Lightfoot Pty Ltd will not be held responsible for these. Should you wish to collect your goods or arrange for a third party to collect, this is available during our normal business hours from our Mary street location. If you wish to collect your order please advise us when placing the order and you will receive a phone call to advise you when the items are available to be collected.

Cancellation

Once an order has been placed the production process begins, and in most cases cancellation is not possible. Should you need to cancel your order for any reason, any costs incurred, will be deducted from your deposit or charged to your account. We do understand that unexpected circumstances can occur from time to time, if this happens and you need to cancel or amend your order, please contact us as quickly as possible and we will endeavour to assist you.

Returns

If there is damage or fault with any part of your order when it is received, it is necessary to contact us within 7 days of the invoice date so we can investigate. Any claims made outside of this period will not be considered.

Your Account Manager will issue you with an authorization number and mode of transport to return these goods if authorised. This authorisation number must be listed on the outside of the package being returned.

No unauthorised returns will be accepted.

Only unwashed, unworn, or unused items in original condition with tags still attached may be returned. When an item is unavailable a representative will contact you within 48hrs, to determine if you want to wait for stock to become available, request an exchange or request a refund.

Items cannot be returned for the reason of incorrect sizing where the size of the items delivered match the size ordered. Please consult a tailor to obtain the correct size for the item requested.

Any charges for items sent back via a different transport mode will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Extended Christmas Returns Policy

For the Christmas period. Returns will be accepted until the 15th January for any Christmas purchases made from the 18th November to 25th December. Normal conditions of returns still apply.

Payment

All new orders of less than $1000.00 are to be paid for in full at the time of order placement. All orders over $1000.00 require 30% deposit and the 70% balance must be paid prior to despatch or pick up. 

Daniel Lightfoot Pty Ltd cannot offer a COD service.

No goods will be dispatched while a customer’s account is overdue.

Daniel Lightfoot Pty Ltd is unable to ship to locations outside of Australia.

Payments can be made via EFT, cheque or credit card. Visa & Master Cards are the only credit cards accepted. Credit card payments are not subject to processing surcharge. Payment of invoice by cheque shall not be deemed to be made until the funds have cleared to the credit of the Daniel Lightfoot Pty Ltd account.

Refunds

Refunds are made directly back into the account/card used for the original purchase. Please allow for up to 5 days for the refund to be processed.

Sizing

Please be aware as Daniel Lightfoot Pty Ltd offers tailored items. The size of items are in tailored measurements. Customers are asked to consult a tailor to get correct measurements before committing to an order. Daniel Lightfoot offer a free fitting consultation from the Mary St address. Bookings are preferred.
